This will not give the desired result, and require excess scrubbing as well. On the other hand, if you allow the dirt to soak in the solution for some time, cleaning becomes much easier. 5) Using the wrong cleaning equipment or tool: While using a vacuum cleaner, remember to use the right attachment to get the best result. Never use a rough scrubber for smooth surfaces like ceramic and porcelain. This can leave scratches on its surface.

6) Cleaning marble with lemon: There is no doubt that lemon is an all-purpose cleaner. But it is not advisable to use lemon on all surfaces especially stones like marble. Lemon is an acid, and it reacts with the marble resulting in fading of the stone.
